His pieces shift with light and air, transforming throughout the day. Rex calls them “floating forms,” reflecting their buoyant, weightless presence. At night, when illuminated, they cast intricate, ever-changing shadows that extend across surrounding walls and spaces.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach sculpture is handcrafted from 14-20-gauge wire, looped into continuous, flowing structures. Some are formed in anodized aluminium wire, while others use insulated copper to preserve the material’s natural color, adding subtle tonal variation. Rex’s inspiration is deeply personal.
